1 dead, 3 seriously injured following crash on Hawaii Island

WAIKOLOA (HawaiiNewsNow) – One person is dead and three people are seriously injured following a crash on Hawaii Island, officials said.
The crash was reported just after 9 a.m. on Highway 190, also known as Kona Upper Road.
A portion of Highway 190 was shut down in both directions but it has since been reopened.
The cause of the crash is unclear at this time.
