On display is the book “The Operation, Care and Repair of Farm Machinery – Twenty First Edition” published by John Deere of Moline, Illinois. I cannot find a copyright date but this book is in its twenty first edition and I would put the book publication date to around the 1940’s. 250 pages. Illustrated. Hardback and in good condition with tight binding. The front and back cover has what looks like some light fading as can be seen in the pictures. The inside pages are in good condition with no rips, tears or stains and have just a slight bit of brown fading on the page edges. This is a book was intended to be used by high schools, colleges and short courses to assist with instructions in farm mechanics in giving a thorough and practical course in the operation, care and repair of the more important farm machines.
