    Description

A beautiful collectible set of four U.S. postage stamps issued in 1949 to commemorate the 46th anniversary of the historic flight at Kitty Hawk, North Carolina. That flight was the first free controlled and power sustained flight by man. The stamps feature a picture of Orville and Wilbur Wright in front of their 1903 biplane.
These stamps have never been used and are as fresh as the day they were sold at the Post Office over 70 years ago!  Suitable for framing, they would make a great gift to anyone interested in aviation history and is a must have item for any Wright Brothers memorabilia collector!
