Shock Wave UV In-Line Ultraviolet Clarifiers create healthy, clear pond environments for fish by eliminating free floating organic materials. This rugged, industrial strength UV sterilizer emits radiation in the form of ultraviolet light in a confined environment helps eliminate free-floating organisms from the water in your pond or water garden.
UV Clarifiers control algae growth by nullifying small protozoa, fungi and viruses which active algae needs to feed on to survive. Ultraviolet Clarifiers are not filters, as they detoxify the water rather than providing filtration.
Sterilizers purpose is to kill the unicellular algae which are mainly responsible for green water. In-Line UV sterilizers consists of a quartz glass tube within a tube, where water flows through an outer tube and over the UV lamp that is housed in the inner quartz glass tube.

The 9-Watt clarifying UV bulb is ideal for cleaning the green algae out of water and preventing decaying odors in ponds up to 900 gallons with an optimal flow rate of 300 - 500 GPH.
The included 9-watt UV double-bulb lasts up to 9,000 hours and housed quartz glass inner-tube. We recommend changing UV bulbs yearly for optimum cleaning performance.
Available in 9, 18, 36 and 55-watt sizes with a 16' low voltage cord to UV with a glowing bulb function monitor.
Multi-tiered inlet and outlet ports accept between 0.75" and 1.5" tubing sizes.
