Description:
A beautiful crisp uncirculated banknote from France. This is the 1997 one hundred francs or cent Francs. The banknote is deep brown on orange, pink, and light green underprint. It has the image of the famous painter Paul Cezanne with a beard and long hair. The front has the image of one of his paintings in light green, while the back has a still life in orange coloring. This is a very colorful banknote that is also very modern in its design. It is sure to become a very desirable banknote with time. This particular note has the serial number K002430351 displayed on both the front and back. It is dated 1997 and has a wide segmented security thread and another thin imbedded security thread to the right of the segmented one. The banknote has a water mark depicting the head of Paul Cezanne displayed in the white area to the left on the front. Please carefully review the scans presented as they are part and parcel of our description.

The banknote measures ~5 1/4" by ~3 1/8".

I would grade this banknote as crisp uncirculated with all the details being very well preserved. The note has no folds, no soiling and no staining. The note has no graffiti, no pinholes, no tears, and no splits. The corners are fully squared with no rounding and no folds. The note retains its full stiffness and crispiness and its colors are all there and very vivid. A great note which would make a excellent addition to your collection of French banknotes.
