Each week I bring you vintage early radio items. I have been collecting radios, phonographs, and music boxes for 47 years, and always have something interesting for sale. Here up for bid is this very rare early version of the Deforest D-7A radio receiver. The first version has  taller RF coils. Look at my photos to see. The wood case is solid, and the original finish looks great. The Deforest antenna is in great original condition. The wire is tight. The bakelite front panel has no cracks or chips. The chassis is clean and complete. The original Deforest transformers are there. The original crystal detector is there intact. The radio comes with three type O1A display tubes. The radio measures 10 inches by 8 inches by 10 inches, and is 38 inches high to the top of the antenna. Buyer pays shipping to 48 states. Overseas buyer pays 0 shipping.
