    Description

This is a lovely Antique Late 19th Century Ching Period Polychrome porcelain teacup from China.  This delicate porcelain teacup which dates from 1900 to 1910 was produced for the large overseas Chinese communities in both Penang and Malacca.  The teacup was purchased by my father in Penang, Malaysia where he owned a Southeast Asian antique shop in the late 1970's to early 1980's.  He only sourced his inventory from local Antique dealers on the island who specialized in Chinese Porcelain and with whom he dealt with on a routine basis.
Teacup Dimensions: 2 1/4 inches high, 2 5/8 inches in diameter at the Rim, 1 1/2 inch diameter at the Base.  Weight: 1.7 Ounces
Condition: Very Fine - slight wear around the Rim
